The Emergency Services of the Niagara Region have coordinated the release of information regarding the use of Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) telephone service in an emergency.  The 911 system that VOIP providers use may be different than traditional 911 services that Niagara residents are used to.

The information provided should outline what some of the differences are, and answer many common questions.  If you require any more information, please feel free to contact the Police, Fire Department, or Ambulance service in your area.
